Animal Shelter of Kalampaka
The object of our Association is to provide care,accomodation,fostering and veterinary services within the area of Kalampaka,Greece,for animals that are in neeed of care and protection by reason of sickness,maltreatment and abandonment,and to educate the public in the care and welfare of animals.
Volunteering
There are various ways you can volunteer depending on your interests, skills and experience. All current vacancies are available here but the list below gives you an idea of the sort of roles you could undertake.
Animal Welfare
The welfare, care and enrichment of the animals at our shelter is of paramount importance and we frequently have roles available.Roles can include husbandry duties such as cleaning, feeding and grooming the animals through to general socialisation and environmental enrichment.
Community Engagement
The Community Engagement Teams sole purpose is to educate people, young and old, about responsible pet ownership and promoting the Stegi cause. We have roles available for supporting events, tour guides,challenge events and community engagement.
Corporate Services
Corporate Services encompasses a vast variety of roles for you to choose from and includes maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, grounds and mechanical maintenance and environmental roles.We also welcome applications from keen gardeners for various specialist projects at our shelter.
